A Brief Intermission… Our Wedding Premiere on National Classic Movie Day
Hello to my followers and CMBA members!
I just wanted to pop in and say I know I’ve been a little quiet lately. The past few months have been a bit of a whirlwind with wedding planning and it’s definitely taken up most of my time.
For the members, I also wanted to let you know I won’t be able to make our general membership meeting… because it falls on our wedding day—on National Classic Movie Day. Our wedding theme is classic Hollywood and it's been so fun to plan. I can't wait to share to it with everyone!
I really miss being more active here and can’t wait to get back into things soon. I already have a few ideas I’ve been thinking about and I’m excited to dive back in once things settle.
Thank you everyone for sticking with me—it really means a lot.

There has never been anyone in the history of movies that had such a magical presence on film. She was delightful and sexy, and she moved with such grace and glamour. We had worked together when we were both coming up in the business, and then she had zoomed to the top... I can remember when we were at Camp Pendleton [the Marine Corps base near San Diego], and every young Marine there had her picture pinned up in every locker and on every wall. I would see her in those very sexy pinup poses in slinky lingerie and think how different her image seemed from the very shy [woman] | knew..." — Glenn Ford on friend and frequent co-star Rita Hayworth
🌟Classic Off-Screen Quotes: Meryl Streep
"One of the most important keys to acting is curiosity. I am curious to the point of being nosy. What that means is you want to devour lives. You're eager to put on their shoes and wear their clothes and have them become a part of you."-- Meryl Streep
